The Emergency Department of the National Cheng Kung University Hospital is committed to providing excellent educational experience for residents, interns, medical and nursing students, and intermediate and senior ambulance technicians. Our goal and responsibility is to assist all medical staff and related trainees to develop their potential, focusing on patient-centered medical training and personal professional development.

With the assistance of excellent and professional attending physicians, and the support of the excellent inter-departmental integration team of Chengda Hospital, we hope that students will have the ability to provide excellent patient care. The group of attending physicians in this department has diverse professional backgrounds, active teaching enthusiasm, rich guidance experience and training, and a culture of teamwork. Planning, medical technology operation, patient management and other professional skills, and can improve interpersonal communication skills, case presentation, professional image and teaching skills.

The courses and training provided by the department include emergency specialist training courses, post-graduation year(PGY) physician general medical emergency training , sixth and seventh grade emergency medicine in the department of medicine, international medical students, emergency medicine in the department of nursing, general education emergency aid, ACLS, APLS , ETTC, BLS and other courses or training.
