PGY Emergency Medicine Training Introduction

The training course is divided into clinical practice training, classroom lectures and simulated operation drills. Emergency medicine training is expected to enable physicians who are new to the clinic to acquire the ability to deal with common diseases in general medicine and surgery and identify emergencies hidden under common symptoms. Through clinical practice training, classroom lectures and simulated operation drill courses, the department has an average of about 180 hours of training per month. It is expected that physicians who receive PGY training can acquire the most efficient way to learn no matter what subject they choose afterward. Useful medical skills and training to deal with the ability of "busy but not chaotic" and "urgent but not panic" in the face of clinical practice.
