CPR
BLS is the abbreviation of Basic Life Support, commonly known as basic life-saving technique in Chinese, which can be rescued with bare hands by professionals or non-professionals. It includes the use of cardiac massage (CPR) and automatic external defibrillator (Automatic External Defibrillator, AED), as well as the Hamlich maneuver (Heimlich maneuver) for foreign body infarction exclusion.
The Emergency Medical Care Act was amended in 1999, and AEDs should be placed in specific public places, including: traffic hubs, long-distance vehicles, tourist areas, schools, large gathering places or special institutions, large leisure places, large shopping malls places, lodging places, and large public stadiums or hot spring areas, etc. In order to avoid the imminent danger of other people's lives, use the AED at the first time and give first-aid measures, and the provisions of civil law and criminal law on the exemption of liability for emergency evacuation shall apply.
The headquarters conducts BLS courses from time to time, and the date will be adjusted depending on factors such as venue borrowing, natural disasters and weather, etc. For details, please refer to the website announcement.
